Enrichment Classes
Enrichment classes give students extraordinary opportunities to grow.

The children ages two through four attend Enrichment classes four times a week. A different subject is taught each day. One of the advantages of the students attending Enrichment class in a separate classroom with a different teacher is that it fosters independence from their classroom teacher. Another advantage is that they get to experience another classroom environment. This is a very important skill to introduce to preschoolers. They learn that it is okay to leave their teacher for a little while and she will be right there in their familiar classroom when they get back. Also, the classroom teachers really look forward to the break in their day, it is amazing what a 15 or 20 minute break can do to revitalize the classroom teacher. Chapel Time
Each week older students attend a chapel time that focuses on simple, Biblical concept to enhance each child's spiritual experience at Latham.
The topics below are examples of principles studied throughout the year.
Each topic is accompanied by a scripture that is reviewed during class time.
Special Events
Each year students participate in special events that are both new and annual traditions.
Following are some examples of these wonderful opportunities to reinforce
classroom learning, share with parents, and give back to the community.
Parents are always invited to come share in the fun. |
