Latham exists to hear Christ, to proclaim Christ and to become like Christ to the world.

Worship Style/Times

One of the greatest things in life that we can do is to come together as the Family of God and worship our Lord.  Latham has four opportunities on Sunday's to do just that!!

Morning Watch Prayer and Communion is  held in the sanctuary at 8:30 A.M. This worship service follows an order of morning prayer and praise.  Held in the front section of the sanctuary, the service includes the singing of hymns, the reading of scripture, a sermon, prayers of the people and Holy Communion each Sunday.  Taking the concept of the last watch of the night before the dawn, worshippers pray for one another and all who will worship at later services as well as for our community, the church universal and the world.  The senior pastor is the primary preacher in this service.

SpiritLink Service  is held in our family life center.  During this service, a message is brought forth that is relevant and inspiring.  This service begins at 9:00 A.M. and  strives to provide an opportunity for open worship of the Lord and strong fellowship in a friendly, casual environment.  You might meet someone in a tie who is talking to someone who is wearing shorts and crocs.  The associate pastor is the primary preacher in this service.

Liturgical Worship is held in our sanctuary at 11:05 A.M. In this service, our aim is to glorify God through ancient acts of worship such as the Apostles Creed; anthems from the Chancel Choir; congregational hymns sung to the beautiful sounds of the organ; Psalter readings and musical responses.    Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of the month.  The senior pastor is the primary preacher in this service.

Bible Study & Vespers is also held in the sanctuary and this service begins at 5:00 P.M.  This is a topical Bible study with some good old-time hymns.  This is a great way to end a weekend and start a new week!!
